Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being designed and made all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
