Yale is famous for providing safe lift trucks that are adaptable and flexible for many different applications and tasks. The ability to manufacture and engineer models for better safety comes from the new technology that is available in the material handling industry and the company's experience.
Yale likes to integrate new technology that is available into their newest designs. Some of the new technologies that are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs many reliability development and controlled field tests so as to make sure that their products are very safe.
Some of Yale's new designs and technology that has been incorporated as standard features for their fleet in order to enhance overall safety consist of the following:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics in the operator compartment along with the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as exhaustion. These added comforts help to increase overall productivity.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Prior to starting their shift, the operator can make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks that have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The LPG tank has a drop down design which brings it out from the vehicle's center to the natural handling position of the operator that makes it far easier to change.
