FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is located in the largest industrial place within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
In 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently manufactures and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are designed and engineered for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
Some models offer really flexible lifting options for companies which are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These types of cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
