Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction jobs. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit has a telescoping jib, called the Jib-Extend, that goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were unreachable by standard jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature allows over and up reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system which allows for valuable time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully elevated simultaneously. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing both productivity and efficiency.
